Rabbi Cohen began serving as spiritual leader of Congregation Agudath Sholom in 2005. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Rabbi Cohen is a graduate of Yeshiva University in New York and its Azrieli Graduate School. He has served in the rabbinate for over twenty years and currently serves as senior Rabbi at Congregation Agudath Sholom, the largest modern orthodox synagogue in New England. Rabbi Cohen served as a national Officer of the Rabbinical Council of America and is a member of the National Council of AIPAC, Board of the ADL and the Beth Din of America. He recently published Mining for Gold: Essays on Torah in the Modern World, which addresses the four questions we will be asked in Heaven and is currently writing What Will They Say About You When You're Gone? Seven Principles for Reverse Engineering Your Life. He speaks frequently on a topic of broad interest - how to lead a life of legacy. Rabbi Cohen and Diane are the grateful parents of six daughters: Sara Malka, Michal, Adina, Elisheva, Tamar and Shalhevet.

Rabbi Chagie Rubin, Kashrut AdministratorRabbi at Agudas Achim SynogagueWest Hartford, CT
Rabbi Chagie Rubin was born in Brooklyn and grew up on Manhattan's Lower East Side. Rabbi Rubin received his Semicha from the Yeshiva Gedolah of Montreal, Canada, where he studied from 1973 to 1979. After returning to the United States of America from Johannesburg, South Africa, serving as principal at Shaarei Torah primary school from 1984-2000, Rabbi Rubin continued serving as a principal in Cincinnati, Denver, and Fairfield, CT. Rabbi Rubin joined the Vaad Hakashrus of Fairfield County in 2008 and has been actively invoved in the Kashrus supervision of several establishments since that time. Rabbi Rubin has also served as the congregational Rabbi for the Young Israel of New Haven, Congregation Agudas Achim of West Hartford and is currently the Rabbi at Congregation Brothers of Joseph in Norwich, CT. Besides serving as Mashgiach at the Vaad, Rabbi Rubin is a member of the Rabbinic Board of the Hartford Kashrut Commission (HKC). Rabbi Rubin is married to Deena Sait who hails from Monsey, NY and has eleven children, ten married with families of their own.

Rabbi Moshe KurtzAssistant Rabbi at Congregation Agudath ShalomStamford, CT
Rabbi Moshe Kurtz serves as the Assistant Rabbi of Congregation Agudath Sholom. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Yeshiva College, where he received the Steven Gladstein Memorial Award for Service to the Jewish People, and an M.S. from the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration. During his time at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS), Rabbi Kurtz studied under and learned one-on-one with Rabbi Dr. Moshe D. Tendler, a preeminent authority in Jewish medical ethics. From 2018-2020, Rabbi Kurtz served as the Rabbinic Intern for the Young Israel of Plainview on Long Island. In the Summer of 2019, he worked as the Rabbi for Aryeh Adventures Up North, a travel program for teenagers with special needs and their mainstream peers. Rabbi Kurtz is also an alumnus of fellowships organized by the UJA-Federation of New York, 92nd Street Y, and AIPAC. Rabbi Kurtz is married to Marisa Pollack-Kurtz, who is a practicing Speech Language Pathologist. Together, they enjoy listening to Classic Rock music, watching Parks and Recreation and, of course, teaching Torah.

Greg Wall has been the spiritual leader of Beit Chaverim Synagogue since August, 2013. Prior to coming to Westport he served as rabbi of the Sixth Street Community Synagogue, in NYC's East Village, where he started the Center for Jewish Arts and Literacy, now based in Westport. He received smicha (rabbinic ordination) from HaRav Don Channen of Ramat Beit Shemesh in 2006, as well as from HaRav Zalman Nechemya Goldberg in 2007 and HaRav Shar Yashuv Cohen in 2009. Rabbi Wall (also known as "the Jazz Rabbi") is a celebrated musician and recording artist whose innovative downtown blend of jazz, world music and Jewish sounds has filled the halls of top venues from Carnegie Hall to stages throughout North America, Europe and Israel.

Born in Boston, Mass., Rabbi Hyman has an impressive educational background and extensive professional experiences. Rabbi Hyman attended Maimonides School, Yeshivat Hakotel in Jerusalem, Brandeis University, and received semicha from RIETS/Yeshiva University. He is an Ed.D candidate in Education and Psychology at the American International College, Springfield, Mass. Rabbi Hyman served as the Associate Rabbi of Park East Synagogue in New York and Rabbi of Congregation Kodimoh in Springfield, Mass. He has long experience in all aspects of the rabbinate. His leadership training as a Wexner Fellow has given him the skills to succeed. Rabbi Hyman enjoys reading, physical fitness and following Boston sports teams. He is married to Tova (née Emanuel) and they are parents of Talya, and twins Raphaela and Rebecca.

Rabbi Eli KohlRabbi at Young Israel of StamfordStamford, CT
Rabbi Kohl grew up in Brooklyn, NY, he attended Yeshivat Hakotel (now known as Netiv Aryeh) in Jerusalem and continued on to Yeshiva University. He completed his Rabbinic studies at RIETS at YU while simultaneously spending three years studying in the Marcos and Adina Katz Kollel program. He also completed advanced training towards a Certificate from Machon Puah in Reproductive Health and Halacha. While at YU, He worked in the Mechinah program helping students from all backgrounds transition to YU. He also spent time with preschoolers teaching kindergarten in Ramaz and more recently he served on the education staff at Camp Yavneh, teaching a wide variety of classes to children of all ages.

Vaad Hakashrus of Fairfield County, also known as the Vaad Hakashrus of Connecticut, is a small association of Rabbis from communities in southern Connecticut that work together to provide certification for local Kosher food establishments. They seek to promote both the application and understanding of the Kosher lifestyle.
